Fixed-term Opportunity:

The marketing team leads the region's destination marketing activities, working on initiatives to attract visitors and build community pride. We inspire locals to invite friends and relatives to the region.

The team resources the marketing operations of a tourism body cultivating the Victorian region as a sustainable tourist destination.

The Role:

This position reports to a coordinator responsible for developing and implementing high-impact marketing tactics and campaigns promoting Ballarat.

This is a maternity leave cover opportunity, requiring someone with experience in marketing and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

About You:

We're looking for someone with

  • experience in marketing and/or a relevant qualification
  • demonstrated success in developing and implementing marketing campaigns
  • strong oral and written communication skills
  • ability to develop and manage relationships with stakeholders
  • experience working in a dynamic team environment
  • understanding of the local visitor economy
