Tourism Midwest Victoria (TMV) is the region's peak tourism body, dedicated to sustainably growing the visitor economy through strong partnerships with local government, industry and key stakeholders. With Ballarat at its heart, TMV's catchment also extends across Hepburn, Pyrenees, Golden Plains and Moorabool, promoting the region's unique destinations to local, national and international audiences.

Employed by the City of Ballarat, the Coordinator Marketing will play a pivotal role in delivering TMV's integrated marketing and communications strategies that position Ballarat and surrounds as a must-visit destination. Reporting to the Executive Manager Visitor Economy, you will oversee the implementation of brand and digital strategies, lead contract and media communications, and provide expert advice to the TMV Board and partners.

As a leader of a nationally recognised and high-performing team, you will provide clarity, guidance and inspiration. You will balance strategic oversight with hands-on delivery, ensuring effective campaign execution, strong industry and key stakeholder engagement and alignment with regional and local strategies including the 2024–2033 Sustainable Destination Management Plan.

To succeed in this role, you will bring demonstrated expertise in destination marketing, communications and stakeholder engagement, along with the leadership capability to harness the skills of an ambitious and driven team. You will be resilient, collaborative and innovative, and able to work confidently in a complex environment.
