This exciting opportunity exists for a junior lawyer to advance their legal career and obtain valuable experience in the Negligence Litigation and Redress unit.

About the Role:
  • We are seeking a qualified lawyer to provide high-quality, timely legal advice in relation to claims made across Victorian government schools.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the provision of legal advice on a wide range of claims, including litigated and non-litigated matters.
  • Support the department's response to the National Redress Scheme.
Requirements:
  • Legal knowledge of tort law and/or experience in negligence litigation claims.
  • Understanding of current child safety reporting.
