Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to evaluate and enhance our business operations. In this role, you will be tasked with assessing business needs, pinpointing improvement opportunities, and executing strategies to optimize processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conducting thorough analysis of client business requirements and workflows through documentation review, workshops, and process mapping.
  2. Demonstrating expertise in the Rail Freight sector.
  3. Participating in the analysis phase, which includes estimating efforts and scheduling tasks.
  4. Collaborating with various teams to perform extensive testing, including functional, regression, user acceptance, integration, and performance testing to ensure alignment with business needs.
  5. Drafting, maintaining, and revising user stories along with technical documentation and specifications.
  6. Working alongside domain and technical specialists to evaluate external vendor product solutions.
  7. Supporting Business Process Leaders in crafting business cases for the introduction of new products or features.
  8. Creating and delivering functional requirements, high-level designs, and detailed designs based on the identified needs.
  9. Generating SQL scripts for data extraction and reporting that align with client specifications.
  10. Establishing data transformation rules necessary for integration tasks.
  11. Possessing a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Rail Freight Management Domain is preferred.
  12. Exhibiting proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
