Effective payroll management is critical for a successful business.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join our team. This role involves processing end-to-end payroll across various pay frequencies, including weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay runs.

  • Process payroll adjustments for salary increments, set up new hires, calculate and process termination payments and other deductions.
  • Assist with month-end processes and reconciliations, including information for superannuation, payroll tax, and workcover payments.
  • Provide timely and accurate payroll advice and support to employees and managers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • 4+ years of end-to-end payroll experience.
  • Experience processing pay runs of over 300 employees.
  • Proficient in using ADP or Mitrefinch T&A.
  • Ability to interpret multiple awards and employment agreements.
  • Passion for payroll and willingness to learn and grow skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including Vlookups.
