Job Description- Senior Polling Position: Assist in managing polling places, ensuring adherence to electoral procedures, and supervising staff.
- Presiding Officer: Manage the operations of a polling place, oversee staff, and ensure compliance with electoral regulations.
- Assistant Presiding Officer: Support the Presiding Officer in managing personnel, election resources, and polling places.
- Ensure accurate counting and reconciliation of ballot papers
- Manage polling places, staff, and election resources
- Supervise and train officers in electoral procedures
- Level 5: Experienced election officials with strong leadership skills
- Level 3: Assistant presiding officers with excellent communication skills
- Level 1.3: Issuing officers with attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Paid in-person training prior to the election day
- Weekend work opportunities
- Varied work schedules
Salary Estimate: AU$40 - AU$60 per hour (dependent on level and experience)
