About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Principal Transmission Lines Engineer to join our Energy team in Australia and New Zealand. As a key member of our Transmission and Distribution practice, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects and collaborate with a talented team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop transmission lines using PLS-CADD software, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Model structures using PLS-TOWER and PLS-POLE, providing accurate and reliable results.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections, assisting with proposal preparation and ensuring project deliverables are met.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
Requirements
  • University degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Extensive knowledge of transmission line design up to 330kv and higher voltage levels.
  • Site experience and proven track record of working on projects under construction.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and self-motivation skills.
