We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. This role involves developing and communicating short-term maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment availability, in line with long-term plans.
The successful candidate will be accountable for monitoring performance against the plan and collaborating with coordinators, engineers, and supervisors. They will also be responsible for demonstrating ongoing performance improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, communicating, and monitoring short-term maintenance plans;
- Collaborating with coordinators, engineers, and supervisors to achieve optimal equipment availability;
- Monitoring performance against the plan and identifying areas for improvement;
- Demonstrating ongoing performance improvement.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A trade qualification or tertiary qualifications in engineering or maintenance management;
- Relevant planning experience in a similar setting;
- Demonstrated specific maintenance experience within open cut mining operations;
- Experience in using SAP or similar ERP systems;
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders from other departments;
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Outlook, Word, Excel, and MS Projects.
