Imports Coordinator

Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for international trade? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? We're seeking a highly skilled Imports Planner to join our team at Lion Inc, a leading importer, marketer, and distributor of premium spirits.
About the RoleAs an Imports Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth importation and export of products. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the import and export process, monitoring shipments, preparing documentation, and managing international brand partners. You will work closely with our sales team and international brand partners to develop your soft skills and technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the import and export process for sea freight, including bookings and arrangements
- Monitor shipments throughout the transport journey and address any issues or delays
- Prepare documentation for transport companies and ensure customs and AQIS requirements are met
- Manage and replenish international brand partners to support lead times and sales
- Identify potential supply constraints or excess inventory risks and collaborate to develop mitigation strategies
- Manage and maintain supply planning parameters in MS Dynamics
- Drive continuous improvement in global supply chain processes
- Produce accurate reporting to support stakeholder needs
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Imports Planner with a strong background in freight forwarding, imports, and exports. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high attention to detail, and strong Excel skills. A relevant tertiary degree is preferred but not essential.
