Job Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished Information Security Professional to spearhead our security, risk, and compliance program. This pivotal role demands a robust technical background in cybersecurity, preferably within cloud-based SaaS businesses, a proactive and commercially astute approach to identifying and mitigating risks, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Security Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Manage Cybersecurity Systems: Manage and monitor cybersecurity systems and tools with the support of your team.
  • Ensure Compliance: Lead review and ensure compliance with financial and privacy regulations and standards.
  • Incident Response: Lead and ensure the appropriate response to security incidents and breaches, including forensic investigations.
  • Security Audits: Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Cybersecurity Training: Train and educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Industry Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry organizations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chief Information Security Officer or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable expertise in cybersecurity, preferably in cloud-based SaaS businesses.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
