About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Psychologist to join our team in providing workplace injury prevention services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting initial assessments, testing, and brief interventions for individuals with psychosocial and mental health barriers to employment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing vocational assessments, transferable skills analysis, and recovery support.
  • Conducting initial assessments with injured workers and case management for return to same employment.
  • Assessing and reporting on workers' mental health fitness for work and psychological functional capacities.
  • Conducting intelligence testing and reporting.
  • Assessing and making recommendations on the effects of mental health and medical conditions on ability to work.
  • Writing detailed case notes and reports.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate Psychologist to develop their skills and expertise in a supportive team environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Master's degree in Psychology.
  • Eligibility for Provisional Psychology registration with AHPRA upon graduating.
  • Eligibility for the 5+1 supervision.
  • Comcare accreditation desirable but not essential.
  • A current Working with Children Check and a clear pre-employment national criminal check.
  • A full driver's license.
