About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Kitchen Steward to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency in our kitchen production areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, including equipment and utensils.
  • Set up and clear buffets and functions with attention to detail and a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals.
  • Manage tasks effectively during peak periods, prioritizing efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Food Safety Certificate.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and WH&S safety standards.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible 7-day roster, including public holidays and weekends.
  • Good communication skills and cultural awareness in a multi-cultural workplace.
