Delaware North Australia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Stewarding Supervisor to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and supporting a team of kitchen stewards to maintain a high standard of cleanliness for food and beverage production areas and outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively supervise and support kitchen team members during rostered shifts
  • Complete rosters in line with modern award and work right restrictions
  • Train team members to ensure they are prepared for banquet events and aware of kitchen requirements
  • Deep clean kitchen areas and ensure tasks are completed to exceptional standards
  • Ensure hygiene and work health and safety requirements are adhered to

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role, in either a stewarding or kitchen environment
  • Understanding of commercial kitchen equipment, chemical handling, food safety, hazard analysis, and critical control points
  • Good presentation skills, written and verbal communication, fluency in English, and computer literacy skills
  • Ability to work a 7-day roster with well-groomed presentation
