
Environmental Sustainability Manager

This role is responsible for leading environmental sustainability initiatives and managing the delivery of projects and programs.
Key Responsibilities- Identify opportunities to promote sustainability and reduce environmental impact.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve environmental outcomes.
- Collaborate with other divisions to address environmental issues and ensure compliance.
- Lead the organisation's response to environmental matters affecting the broader organisation.
- Develop strategic documents to improve community understanding of sustainability.
- Investigate Council activities to identify areas for improvement and assist in implementing changes.
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in environmental engineering, science or a related field.
- NSW driver's licence.
- Working with Children's Check (WWCC).
A 35-hour work week, leaseback vehicle and flexible working arrangements will be considered. Salary may be negotiated based on skills and experience.
Additional InformationShortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical screening, including alcohol and other drugs testing.
