Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading environmental sustainability initiatives and managing the delivery of projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities to promote sustainability and reduce environmental impact.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve environmental outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other divisions to address environmental issues and ensure compliance.
  • Lead the organisation's response to environmental matters affecting the broader organisation.
  • Develop strategic documents to improve community understanding of sustainability.
  • Investigate Council activities to identify areas for improvement and assist in implementing changes.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in environmental engineering, science or a related field.
  • NSW driver's licence.
  • Working with Children's Check (WWCC).
Benefits

A 35-hour work week, leaseback vehicle and flexible working arrangements will be considered. Salary may be negotiated based on skills and experience.
