Job Opportunity: Civil Engineer - Marine Construction

We are seeking expressions of interest from Civil Engineers with experience in marine construction for FIFO opportunities across Australia.

With multiple projects across the public and private sector marine construction sector coming on-line, we are actively seeking expressions of interest from Civil Engineers with specific experience working with civil contractors involved in the construction of near-shore marine structures and associated ancillary works.

As a Civil Engineer in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with highly respected construction companies in the sector, with FIFO rosters ranging from 10&4, 2&1 and 3&1 often from your home city.

Some clients are also willing to assist with relocation, should you be looking at interstate relocation or relocation from New Zealand.

About You

To be successfully shortlisted, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Degree qualified (Civil/Structural preferable)
  • 2-7 years of civil construction experience within a reputable civil contractor
  • Exposure to construction projects in a marine environment (Ports, Wharfs, Jetties, Breakwaters etc)
  • Positive and proactive attitude and desire to be a contributing member of the team
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Valid working rights in Australia (Current 482 or Working Holiday Visa holders welcome to apply)
  • Willing to travel and work on FIFO rosters due to the nature of the marine industry

Salary Guides

Site Engineer (1-3 years) - $80,000 - $100,000 + super

Project Engineer (4-7 years) - $100,000 - $150,000 + Super

Site Allowances/Uplifts range subject to roster, client, and location but typically between 20% - 40% of your salary.
