About The Role

As a key member of our Intensive Care Unit team at the Mater Hospital in North Sydney, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care that is safe, effective, and compassionate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee the clinical care of patients and ensure it is provided in a person-centered manner within the hospital's philosophy, mission, and values.
  • To manage the delivery of patient care in accordance with policies and procedures of MHS and St Vincent's Health Australia (SVHA).
  • To maintain confidentiality of patients and staff, and ensure effective communication and interpersonal skills.
About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICU nurse to join our team. To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A current AHPRA registration and a Bachelor's degree in nursing or postgraduate qualification in clinical nursing or management.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in specialty care, with a commitment to professional development and clinical teaching.
  • The ability to clinically manage one's self and others, creating a transformational leadership environment.
