We are seeking a dedicated Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Prospero Health & Social Care in Sydney.
Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Critical Care Nurse to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a critical care nurse, you will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in an ICU/Critical care setting and hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). They will possess advanced clinical skills and knowledge of critical care nursing practices.
Key Responsibilities- Providing specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit.
- Monitoring and assessing patients' conditions, administering medications, and implementing treatment plans.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Responding to emergencies and providing life-saving interventions as necessary.
- Educating patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an ICU/Critical care setting.
- Advanced clinical skills and knowledge of critical care nursing practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
