**The Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, observability, and maintainability of our production environment and associated auxiliary components. Your expertise will drive our day-to-day business operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Evangelize site reliability principles to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving buy-in of key metrics such as SLIs/SLOs for new systems and software.
  • Develop a deep understanding of fault tolerance in software and systems, applying architectural design patterns to ensure high availability.
  • Drive automation initiatives to eliminate toil and repetitive tasks, focusing on infrastructure as code and tooling.
  • Apply natural curiosity to continuously improve our infrastructure and services.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Cloud, DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering roles.
  • Extensive experience with public cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Deep knowledge of workload orchestration and containerization, including Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Solid automation experience with infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform.
  • CI/CD experience with platforms like Gitlab or Jenkins.
  • Proven track record of supporting critical production systems with minimal downtime.
  • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Willingness to participate in our 24x7x365 on-call rotation.
  • Experience mentoring developers and junior engineers.
  • Demonstrated expertise in software development methodologies, such as Scrum or SAFe.
  • Deep understanding of email delivery protocols, including SMTP, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.

**Bonus Points**

  • Helm/Kapitan experience.
  • Ruby on Rails experience.
  • Golang experience, particularly with the Kubernetes API.

**Residency Requirement**

Finalsite offers 100% remote employment opportunities, but these opportunities are limited to permanent residents of Poland. Current residency and continued residency within Poland are required to obtain and retain employment with Finalsite.
