Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our culinary leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional quality food and providing outstanding guest experiences in our high-volume restaurants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of chefs to produce high-quality food that meets our brand standards and exceeds guest expectations.
  • Develop and implement menu concepts, recipes, and cooking techniques to drive sales and profitability.
  • Collaborate with our culinary leadership team to drive innovation and excellence in food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, as well as our company's quality and service standards.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and scheduling.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our culinary team.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other kitchen expenses to achieve budget targets.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional quality food and providing outstanding guest experiences.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, as well as our company's quality and service standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery is desired, but not essential.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
