Senior Manufacturing Process Optimizer

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for optimizing workflows, facilitating new product introductions, and executing process improvements that drive cost efficiency and product reliability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical assembly processes for complex CNC machines and subassemblies.
- Troubleshooting production issues and implementing rapid problem resolution strategies.
- Maintaining and enhancing standard operating procedures, assembly instructions, and production documentation.
- Collaborating on assembly line layout and workstation design improvements to enhance efficiency and ergonomics.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in engineering principles, coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a genuine interest in leadership development.
Candidates should be ready to take on challenges in a fast-paced environment. Key qualifications include:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in an engineering role, demonstrating process improvement and technical leadership.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer in Victoria.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., NX, AutoCAD) and ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including assembly, machining, and automation.
