Experienced Bricklayer Wanted for Residential and Commercial Projects

11 Recruitment is seeking a skilled and experienced Bricklayer to work on various residential and commercial projects in the lower North Shore and Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for laying bricks as directed and implementing safety measures to protect both workers and the public during construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse plans, dimensions, and specific requirements for brickwork in projects to ensure compatibility with overall design and structural integrity.
- Determine the necessary materials, measurements and installation methods by interpreting specifications and work orders.
- Lay bricks as directed, including laying concrete blocks and carrying out brickwork needed to replace cavity flashings and arch bars.
- Clean up work areas after project completion, disposing of debris and leftover materials properly to maintain a tidy and professional worksite.
- Implement safety measures to protect both workers and the public during construction.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Certificate III in Bricklaying or other relevant certifications.
- Proven experience as a Bricklayer or similar role in construction.
- Proficient in bricklaying techniques and tools.
- Strong understanding of construction and masonry materials.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Excellent physical condition and stamina.
What We Offer
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $80,000; plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
