Lead Laboratory Chemist

This key leadership position is an exceptional opportunity to drive technical excellence in a laboratory setting.
About the Position- Provide strategic guidance and expertise in method development, validation, and mentoring of team members in best practices and process optimization.
- Ensure efficient daily operations, collaborating with team leaders to address capacity, bottlenecks, and issues.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture, supporting performance discussions, cross-training, and succession planning.
- Guarantee compliance with regulatory standards, monitoring QA/QC, and leading audit investigations for corrective actions.
- Promote seamless teamwork, liaise between operations and management, and guide complex client queries and investigations.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of analytical chemistry experience, with a proven record in method validation, quality compliance, and instrumentation operation and innovation.
- Previous experience in leading or mentoring teams in a laboratory environment.
- Strong understanding of NATA, ISO/IEC 17025, and ALS quality systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead scientific investigations and implement sustainable solutions.
