We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in the adult acute mental health unit.
The successful candidate will provide quality services to consumers, including high-level clinical skills and autonomous work.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires recognised high-level clinical skills, operating autonomously with minimum direct clinical supervision.
About the Role:
The Social Worker is an integral part of the healthcare team, providing social work services for consumers and their families/carers.
The role requires key responsibilities including planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting on clinical services, as well as involvement in the implementation of protocols, initiatives, policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, evaluate and report on clinical services
- Operate autonomously with minimum direct clinical supervision
- Involvement in the implementation of protocols, initiatives, policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Recognised high-level clinical skills enabling them to work across a range of clinical areas within their discipline
- Ability to perform novel, complex and critical clinical services to patients, families and carers with a high level of professional knowledge
- Operates autonomously with minimum direct clinical supervision and has a consultative role within their area of speciality
- Has an operational/supervisory role within the team
