Primary Healthcare Specialist

This role involves managing patient care in a busy primary healthcare setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients independently within a holistic model of care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage patient care through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning in a fast-paced primary healthcare environment.
- Deliver high-quality clinical care that is responsive to the needs of diverse patients.
- Collaborate closely with Aboriginal Health Workers, General Practitioners, and Allied Health professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Support timely access to care and promote evidence-based practice to improve community health outcomes.
- Current registration as a Nurse with Nurse Practitioner endorsement from the relevant nursing authority.
- Extensive experience in assessing and treating patients in a primary care setting.
- Advanced clinical decision-making and care planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Sensitivity, diplomacy, and discretion when handling complex or confidential matters.
