Role Summary:

The Head of Industry Engagement and Development is a key position responsible for devising and executing an industry engagement and development strategy for the SSN AUKUS Program.

This role requires strong business acumen, considering long-term issues, opportunities, and risks to ensure ongoing success. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maximise Australian industry participation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute an industry engagement and development strategy that drives maximum industry participation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Act as the lead representative to deliver all industry engagement and development initiatives.
  • Maintain a strategic perspective on the entire business, addressing long-term issues, opportunities, and risks.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Commerce, or Program Management.
  • Minimum of 12 years' relevant experience with a strong emphasis on Supply Chain strategies within a complex multi-partner program.
  • Experience in maritime design, build, and sustainment processes.
  • Proven ability to develop high-level strategies and translate them into operational plans.
