Role Overview

The role of Engagement Strategist requires a specialist with extensive experience in managing engagement programs and building collaborative relationships with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

This position involves leading a team of communications specialists who develop and deliver key communication plans, projects, and initiatives that meet customer needs and align with business goals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic engagement plans and programs that meet customer requirements and enhance the company's reputation.
  • Lead a team responsible for managing high-value communications channels and delivering key communication plans and collateral.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders to promote open communication and facilitate delivery of best practice engagement initiatives.
  • Provide specialist advice on communication and engagement issues, risks, and opportunities, and develop management strategies to deliver business objectives.
  • Evaluate project success and recommend improvements to engagement strategies and tactics.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications or Public Relations.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and communication strategy development.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and build networks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic communication campaigns.
  • High-level presentation and written communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
