About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Category Buyer to lead our Rubi Accessories team. This is a 12-month maternity leave contract opportunity that will drive the success of our category and contribute to department reviews. The successful candidate will work with our Trend team to deliver on big ideas and key lifestyle items that align with our brand DNA.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the category and collaborate with Production to deliver products that meet category strategies and are compliant and cost-effective.
  • Contribute to department reviews, apply learnings to category decision making, and chase growth opportunities to ensure the success and profitability of our brand.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and support teams to achieve strategy visions.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification / degree in a relevant field (e.g., buying).
  • Demonstrated experience working with production, trends, and buying teams to achieve strategy visions.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Leadership experience in a significant multi-brand global retailer.
