Category Acquisition Manager

We are seeking a driven and experienced professional to lead our category vision in the Footwear division of a global retailer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the category, collaborating with our Trend team to deliver innovative ideas and key lifestyle items that align with our brand DNA and meet customer demands.

The role requires exceptional communication and negotiation skills when working with internal and external stakeholders and support teams. You will have demonstrated experience in managing production, trends, and buying teams to achieve strategic visions.

As a leader in a multi-brand global retailer, you will contribute to department reviews, apply learnings to category decision-making, and identify growth opportunities to ensure the success and profitability of our brand.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the category and working with our Trend team to deliver on innovative ideas and key lifestyle items
  • Contributing to department reviews and applying learnings to category decision-making
  • Identifying growth opportunities to ensure the success and profitability of our brand
  • Collaborating with Production and supporting your Buying team to deliver products that meet category strategies and are compliant and cost-effective
