Technical Training Mentor: Apprenticeships Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Technical Training Mentor to join our team of industry experts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions to apprentices, guiding them in practical activities, and ensuring workshops run smoothly and safely.

  • Deliver engaging skills demonstrations in workshop sessions.
  • Guide learners in practical workshop activities and help them develop knowledge, behaviours and confidence for industry success.
  • Ensure workshops run smoothly and safely, with attention to planning and logistics.
  • Support the planning and delivery of End Point Assessments.
  • Provide technical backup and track apprentice progress throughout their training.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the apprenticeship delivery team to support learners and assess progress.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage learners and colleagues.
  • Proactive mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Organised, customer-focused approach and commitment to high standards of delivery.
  • Experience or interest in construction apprenticeships and hands-on training is desirable.
