Salary: £20,270 - £26,392 per annum (HPC21 – HPC30)

We're looking for a hands-on, passionate Technical Training Mentor to support our construction apprentices through their practical learning journey. In this role, you'll deliver engaging skills demonstrations, guide learners in workshop sessions, and help them develop the knowledge, behaviours and confidence needed to thrive in the industry. You'll play a key part in ensuring workshops run smoothly and safely, while also supporting the planning and delivery of End Point Assessments. Working closely with the apprenticeship delivery team, you'll provide technical backup and track apprentice progress throughout their training. This role suits someone with strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities- Deliver engaging skills demonstrations in workshop sessions for construction apprentices.
- Guide learners in practical workshop activities and help them develop knowledge, behaviours and confidence for industry success.
- Ensure workshops run smoothly and safely, with attention to planning and logistics.
- Support the planning and delivery of End Point Assessments.
- Provide technical backup and track apprentice progress throughout their training.
- Collaborate with the apprenticeship delivery team to support learners and assess progress.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage learners and colleagues.
- Proactive mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Organised, customer-focused approach and commitment to high standards of delivery.
- Experience or interest in construction apprenticeships and hands-on training is desirable.
