Greenkeeper Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Greenkeeper to fill this challenging position.

Our ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management and be passionate about working outdoors.

The successful applicant will maintain the quality of fairways and greens, apply fertilizers and pesticides using commercial grade equipment, perform machinery maintenance and log-book recording, conduct field maintenance using manual and mechanical methods, and irrigate the course and gardens effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the quality of golf courses and sports facilities through preparation and upkeep
  • Apply chemical treatments and use commercial grade equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery
  • Conduct field maintenance tasks using manual and mechanical methods
  • Ensure efficient irrigation systems
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Sports Turf Management or equivalent
  • Interest in the sports industry and eagerness to learn
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Good communication and basic numeracy skills
  • Manual 'C' class Driver's Licence and flexibility with hours of work
