Turf Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a Turf Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for the maintenance of sports fields and parks on council and private sites.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the turf industry, with knowledge of chemical products and their uses. You will be required to work as a solo operator, carrying out general greenkeeper duties using a variety of modern equipment.

Our workload is growing, and we require multiple team members to join our tight-knit team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of sites, with no two days being the same.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum Cert lll Horticulture (Sports Turf Management) or equivalent qualification;
  • Minimum MR drivers license (or the ability to obtain);
  • White Card;
  • Sports field or golf course experience essential;
  • Some grass species, weed, and pest identification skills;
  • Proven experience in spraying.
Benefits

These are full-time permanent roles with annual leave, personal leave, and RDO hours. Outstanding employees may be considered for industry training and qualifications after a probationary period.
