Investment Specialist

We are seeking a talented Investment Specialist to join our dynamic content team. As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our operational efforts and creating engaging stories that help investors achieve their financial goals.

Morningstar's Australian website provides investors with essential insights on investing, retirement, and personal finance. In this role, you will work collaboratively with our content and research teams to produce unique multimedia editorial content, incorporating investor education, commentary, and actionable investing ideas.

You will be responsible for assisting the team in publishing and disseminating content, generating written and video content, and utilizing Morningstar products and tools to create online content. Additionally, you will analyze Morningstar investment data and market trends to generate online editorial.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in personal finance and investing, as well as excellent writing skills and a keen analytical mind. You should also be able to work efficiently under deadlines and manage content according to the editorial schedule.

In return, you will have the opportunity to learn Morningstar's investing philosophy, equity and manager research methodology, and approach to personal finance. This is an entry-level opportunity to develop your content creation skills while making a meaningful contribution to our team.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of and interest in personal finance and investing
  • Interest in learning about content creation and investor engagement
  • Strong writing skills
  • Knowledge of or interest in learning Canva, video editing software, etc.
  • Analytically-minded, with a keen interest in data-driven content
