Engineering Management Opportunities

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Utilities business nationally. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape systems and processes, drive high-quality project delivery, and contribute to the growth of our water and wastewater team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee engineering management for water and wastewater projects from design through to construction.
  • Drive the development of systems, processes, and governance frameworks to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with project objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance across design and construction phases, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Work closely with project managers, site managers, construction teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination between design, engineering, and construction activities.
  • Identify potential risks related to engineering and construction and implement mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project delivery.
  • Support the growth of the water and wastewater team through mentorship and by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in engineering management within the water and wastewater sector.
  • Strong expertise in design and construct projects, with hands-on experience in contractor-side delivery highly desirable.
  • Background in mechanical engineering highly desirable with strong experience in design management.
  • A passion for building and improving systems, processes, and governance frameworks to drive project success.
  • You will be a natural problem solver who enjoys solving complex problems and partnering with clients and project teams to provide innovative solutions.
