Job Summary
">We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team in a role that involves managing commercial and contract matters on allocated subcontracts for large-scale projects.
">The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of contract formation and administration operating standards, as well as excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
">Main Responsibilities:
">- Manage all commercial and contract matters on allocated subcontracts to ensure compliance with project requirements.">
- Support internal stakeholders with tendering, negotiation, and formation of assigned subcontracts.">
- Assist with project subcontracting strategy for assigned subcontracts to optimize earnings.">
- Partner with internal management and stakeholders to review project budget and ensure adequate allocation to subcontracts.">
- Effective administration of all subcontracts to drive business outcomes.">
- Prepare claims and variations for adjustment of compensation and time under head contract and assigned subcontracts.">
- Manage and resolve claims with subcontractors/suppliers in accordance with Contract Formation and Administration Operating Standards.">
Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you will require:
">- Tertiary qualification in engineering, quantity surveying, law, construction management, and economics (CM&E) preferred.">
- Minimum 3 years direct experience in managing subcontractors and suppliers.">
- Demonstrated experience as contracts administrator or commercial/contracts advisor on building projects.">
- Highly organized with ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.">
- Exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and desire to drive outcomes.">
