Job Summary
We're seeking highly motivated Lift Mechanics to join our Sydney team and work across the Construction and Modernisation areas of the business. As an essential part of our field team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our elevator systems and providing exceptional customer service.
About the Role
In this critical position, you will be responsible for:
- Installation of new equipment and modernization of lifts, escalators, and travellators, working to the highest safety and environmental standards while ensuring delivery targets are met.
- Maintaining company tools, equipment, and materials properly and safeguarding such property.
- Complying with the company's Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures, including reporting any conditions that may impact the environment or any employee.
- Maintaining and working to the Quality System, performing work per the relevant lift industry codes and standards.
- Attending customer handing over inspection/service inspections on installation and modernization projects where required.
- Ensuring timely completion of defects identified during service/handing over inspection in coordination with the Project Manager where required.
- Identifying process improvement opportunities and helping facilitate continuous improvement.
What You'll Need To Succeed
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- An 'A' Grade Electrical Licence with an Industry White Card.
- Experience in the elevator industry would be a significant advantage, but it's not essential. A great work ethic and attitude are essential.
- An uncompromising attitude, awareness, and adherence toward working safely in all situations.
- Other relevant qualifications or training, such as 'working from heights,' 'rigging,' etc., would be an advantage.
- The ability to travel in and out of the region may be required from time to time, and the ability to work unsupervised and independently is necessary.
- A willingness to learn new leading-edge technologies and advance your skill level.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
