Senior Manager, Communications Role Overview

As a Senior Manager, Communications at Ubank, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our reputation, people engagement, and trust.

This role reports directly to the Associate Director, Media & External Communications, and requires developing and executing impactful communications strategies and campaigns to support engagement and reputation.

You will also develop and maintain relationships with media, pitch stories to various outlets, and assist with issues management to build trust in Ubank and manage crises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute communications strategies and campaigns to drive engagement and reputation.
  • Maintain relationships with media and pitch stories to various outlets.
  • Assist with issues management to build trust in Ubank and manage crises.
  • Drive effective working relationships with members of the Leadership Team and across functions.
  • Apply judgment on potential risk and reputational issues.
Requirements
  • Effective liaison skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in communications measurement and reporting.
  • Excellent written communication skills and storytelling ability.
  • Exhibit excellent stakeholder skills, including negotiation and influence.
