Senior Project Management Role

This is a senior-level project management position that will play a pivotal part in significant risk transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring all tasks, timelines, and resource requirements are clearly defined and communicated to stakeholders.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to gather requirements, provide timely updates, and address concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery, collaborate with the project team to develop effective mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Deliver regular and detailed status updates on project delivery, highlighting progress, challenges, and next steps to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and align it with the established project delivery framework.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, enhancing their development and the overall capability of the project team.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years as dedicated project manager or equivalent experience in business/administration analysis.
  • At least 5 years within the superannuation industry: insurance or banking experience considered.
  • Demonstrable skills in project management & delivery.
  • Excellent planning skills.
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) - documentation, negotiation, organisational and relationship skills.
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and management skills.
  • Strong technical understanding of superannuation, including defined benefit plans, pensions and insurance.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly MS Project.
  • Ability to work closely with others.
