Job Overview

The Chief Delivery Officer is a key role responsible for overseeing all engineering activities across product lines in bids, projects, and products. The successful candidate will have extensive experience leading engineering teams to deliver complex projects and must have explosive ordnance engineering lifecycle knowledge.

  • Accountable for all engineering activities across Munitions, Energetics, and Chemicals Product Lines in bids, projects, and products, ensuring delivery outcomes align with business strategy and product roadmaps.
  • Oversee product timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality outcomes.
  • Provide strategic team leadership, setting clear goals, empower team members, and cultivate a culture of accountability and innovation.
  • Spearhead critical projects and oversee their industrialisation, ensuring seamless transition from design to full-scale production.
Key Responsibilities

The Chief Delivery Officer will be responsible for:

  • Mitigating risk, resolving production bottlenecks, and ensuring compliance from a safety and regulatory standards perspective.
  • Implementing and optimising lean manufacturing and agile project management practices to enhance efficiency and team performance.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Explosive Ordnance engineering lifecycle knowledge and experience underpinned by relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Experience leading engineering teams to deliver complex projects.
  • Proven success in delivering large-scale manufacturing or production projects.
