About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our high-calibre team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining total control and knowledge of onsite works, coordinating the Supervision Team, workforce, and contractors. Your goal will be to complete the project safely and in accordance with the program while ensuring a quality product is constructed.

You will motivate others to ensure a high-performing culture where teamwork delivers exceptional quality outcomes to program. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a Certificate III in Civil Construction, Cert IV or Diploma of Construction Management desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, implement, and audit all aspects of the project's occupational health and safety/environment requirements.
  • Undertake and lead pre-start and toolbox meetings to ensure all communication is coordinated, clear, and supports the project's strategic direction.
  • Be in charge of site communication.
  • Provide leadership to the team of Supervisors, workforce, and sub-contractors, clearly defining responsibilities, coordination of areas of operation, and allocation of labor.
  • Direct the allocation of site resources and monitor the effectiveness of the resources with direct correlation to daily production rates.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the project, including drawings, specifications, and quality requirements for all site-related activities.
