Graphic Designer - Apparel

We are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join our team. As a talented designer, you will work collaboratively with the design team to create commercial, customer-focused graphics that reflect the brand's unique handwriting and drive incremental sales.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify and interpret global graphic trends to add value through graphic design and sales in line with the brand's branding.
  • Visually articulate and effectively communicate the graphic direction for the season.
  • Presents graphic trend forecasts to stakeholders with supporting evidence.
  • Maintains strong aesthetic taste and stays ahead of commercial trend directions.
  • Interprets range architecture to create commercial, customer-focused artwork across ranges reflecting the brand's branding and taste.
  • Briefs and coordinates with overseas graphic designers to ensure coordinated commercial outcomes.
  • Creates desirable graphics for products in line with the brand's branding and external market needs.
  • Demonstrates a thorough understanding of product materials and construction.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Graphic Designer in apparel (print or graphic design for textiles, yardages, and placement prints).
  • A degree in Graphic Design, Surface Pattern, or Illustration.
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign).
  • A strong ability to forecast and implement commercial and broad-appeal trends.
  • The ability to work confidently and autonomously with key stakeholders in merchandise and design.
  • Excellent technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite and the ability to create accurate graphic art.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Confident and articulate presentation skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective time management and the ability to plan and prioritize workload, including coordinating with overseas teams to create volume ranges.
