Warranty Clerk Role Summary

This position is responsible for managing the warranty function within a dealership, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and timelines.

The successful candidate will be accountable for processing warranty claims, providing accurate information to customers, and conducting regular audits to identify potential issues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage warranty claims in accordance with manufacturer requirements
  • Explain complex information to customers in a clear and concise manner
  • Analyse data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement
  • Conduct regular warranty compliance audits and provide reports as needed
  • Monitor expenditure related to warranty and goodwill claims

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with IT systems and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Calm and efficient under pressure, with high standards of accuracy
