Are you a skilled professional seeking a challenging role in technical support and regulation? We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Officer to join our team.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for delivering technical and regulatory information and advice to internal and external stakeholders. Your primary focus will be on ensuring industry compliance with current building legislation, regulations, and codes.

This role also involves assisting with assessment, issuing occupancy permits for prescribed temporary structures and places of public entertainment and development, reviewing and delivering technical and education materials and seminars.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide sound technical guidance and support to stakeholders.
  • Assist with assessment and issuance of occupancy permits.
  • Develop and deliver technical and educational materials.
Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with:

  • Sound knowledge of the building regulatory framework, including the National Construction Code and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver high levels of customer service.
  • Tertiary qualifications in building surveying, construction management, engineering, or related fields.
