Job Overview

The Contracts and Procurement Specialist role is a crucial part of our organization's success. This position plays a vital role in supporting the development, coordination, and execution of major Renewables projects within Europe.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to the ongoing development of a global sourcing strategy;
  • Developing, coordinating, and evaluating tender packages for various project phases, including studies for engineering, environmental, social, site investigations, construction, and procurement contracts;
  • Supporting the negotiation of contract terms and conditions to meet project schedule and budget requirements;
  • Identifying and evaluating key risks at contract formation and seeking input from other functions as necessary;
  • Maintaining and updating procurement records and generating reports on procurement and contract activity to ensure organisational compliance;
  • Administering contracts to support project execution, including correspondence and contract notices, and claims assessment.

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Engineers, Legal, Quality Management, Finance, Tax, Insurance, Project Controls, and Logistics to ensure contractual delivery parameters are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Affiliation to RICS or CIPS (desirable but not essential);
  • +5 years' experience in Contracts within major Projects and/or energy industries, with project start-up exposure highly desirable;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, retain flexibility, and engage effectively with stakeholders and other disciplines.
