Job Title: Records and Information Manager

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will lead the development, delivery, and management of the organization's data, records, and information architecture and governance program. The role will involve leading a team to design, implement, and maintain systems that meet legislative requirements, industry standards, best practices, and organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of recordkeeping, data management, and information architecture and governance services
  • Establish data management and retention policies and procedures
  • Review current information management environments and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve records and information management capabilities, costs, risk management, audits, and compliance
  • Develop detailed recordkeeping and information management strategies, policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Conduct training sessions on recordkeeping and information management practices
  • Develop effective relationships with stakeholders and provide expert advice on contemporary recordkeeping practices and information architecture
  • Maintain currency with relevant legislation and policy changes
  • Foster constructive relationships within the team and across the organization
