Job Title: Data Governance Specialist

About the Role:

  • Manage complex datasets and provide insightful analysis and reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure program governance and compliance requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and quality assure complex apprenticeship and traineeship data for reporting and strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in operational policy and research activities impacting vocational education and training in Queensland.
  • Build and manage positive working relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities and industry partners.
  • Lead governance activities related to agreements such as the Norfolk Island Apprenticeship and Traineeship Support Service.
  • Provide high-level advice and reporting on apprenticeship and traineeship activities.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in data analysis, reporting, and presenting complex training data.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to support quality assurance and data integrity in training administration systems.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, consultation, and negotiation across government and industry sectors.
  • A deep understanding of vocational education and training policies.
  • Strong written communication skills.
