Overview of the Role

The role entails assisting with road and street maintenance and construction programs in a temporary full-time capacity.

The successful candidate will be required to operate various types of plant equipment in accordance with specified standards, maintain small and heavy plant efficiently and safely, and work as part of a cohesive team.

  • Operate diverse plant and equipment in line with established protocols.
  • Effectively manage and maintain plant in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and adhere to instructions.
Essential Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a current driver's license with a medium rigid endorsement and previous experience in road and street maintenance and/or construction, preferably within a local council setting.

Additionally, the candidate should hold certificates of competency for operating plant items such as rollers, skid steers, tractors, slashers, FE loaders, and backhoes.
