About You:
  • You will be physically fit, able to perform heavy lifting, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders, and pushing trolleys.
  • Be able to work with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced, time-pressured environment, performing repetitive tasks with care.
  • Have your own transport and be able to attend various farm sites within a 20 km radius of Millmerran.
  • Have a can-do attitude and be cooperative to meet daily requirements.
  • Be accountable for the work completed and demonstrate effective communication skills.
  • Have attention to detail to complete both husbandry and quality assurance tasks.
Requirements:
  • A genuine interest in rural work and agriculture.
  • Sufficient literacy and numeracy skills to ensure accurate record keeping.
  • Genuine care for animal welfare, adhering to bio-security protocols at all times.
  • No previous bird handling experience required, but ability to work with live birds is necessary.
  • Ability to work in dirty or dusty environments, or outdoors in all weather conditions.
