Company Overview

- Initial project involves a significant hotel conversion in a central business district
Role Overview – Contract Administrator
- Developing subcontractor tender packages, defining scopes of work, preparing contract documentation, and creating procurement schedules
- Managing head contract progress claims
- Evaluating and submitting variations
- Overseeing both upstream and downstream processes, with an emphasis on downstream management
- Administration of head contracts
- Compiling monthly cost reports for presentation to the Construction Manager
- Managing Requests for Information (RFIs) to clients and consultants
- Supporting the Project Manager with daily operational tasks
- Maintaining control of project documentation
- Building relationships and negotiating with suppliers
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 3 years of experience in a Contract Administrator role
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or a related discipline
- Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Eligibility to work in Australia
