Opportunity Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our successful team as a Mining Engineer at a critical project in the Bowen Basin QLD. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with planning and scheduling scopes of works for a major underground coal mine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning and scheduling scopes of works for a major underground coal mine.
  • Provide scheduling and planning support to our project.
Requirements

We are seeking a self-starting individual with:

  • Exposure to planning and scheduling with a preferred background in mining.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • An appetite for numbers and data.
  • Attention to detail and sound logistical thinking.
  • Competency using a variety of computer software programs including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Prior experience with mine design and scheduling software.
  • Tertiary Qualification - Mining Engineer.
  • Demonstrated Post-Graduate Experience.
  • Drivers' Licence.
